Summary
Disaster Loan Outreach Consistency Act
This bill requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to ensure that outreach materials for its disaster loan program (e.g., press releases, fact sheets) are accurate, current, and consistent across all disaster field operations centers. (The SBA Disaster Loan Program provides low-interest loans to homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofits to assist with recovering from declared disasters.)
Specifically, the SBA must (1) include in outreach materials updated information on the eligibility processes for and terms of the disaster loan program; (2) verify, prior to public release, that outreach materials are current; and (3) annually review outreach materials to ensure consistency across disaster field operations centers.
