Protecting Servicemembers from Debt Collectors Act

This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to review and update DOD Directive 1344.09 (Indebtedness of Military Personnel) and any associated regulations to ensure that such regulations comply with federal consumer protection law with respect to the collection of debt.
